Initiated SRD

The Initiated SRD is a four-page ruleset for mechanically leveraged storytelling, featuring:

• One-roll resolution for all actions
• Pass/fail and margin of success from a roll practically instantly
• Compact 4-page design for rules, newbie-friendly enough for anyone to play
• A sufficient base for future modular additions or stand-alone play

My goal with Initiated was to create a hyper-streamlined d100 system. It's fast and simple enough to play anywhere and with anyone and in narrative-first games, but also strong and crunchy enough to be used in mechanically-driven games.

It's a lightened version of the rules that power my game Kenoma (link to free Quickstart) and its mechanical predecessor Hammercalled (the Hammercalled Rules Reference, the predecessor to the Initiated SRD, is included and features rules such as a modular gear creation system).

Note: The fonts used in the Initiated SRD are Lato and Archivo Narrow, both of which are free Google Fonts. You will need them for the .docx to render properly or to use the .afdesign files in Affinity Designer/Publisher.
